The project is a warm cocoon. It evokes the limestone of their native country and the sand of their host. The walls and ceiling are also entirely clad in the same earthy tone in sandy paint to eventually receive the gently colorful collection of furniture, carpets and objects. No blacks, no extreme whites, just a gentle flow of pastels, moments of Guatemala verde marble, white travertine, a pink leather, a white woven cotton, a touch of brass. Artworks from their homeland, designer pieces from the contemporary world and selected bespoke items for a highlight. Below is the prince’s palm grove, an opportunity to be at the right eye-level on the 26th floor in Daman DIFC, and not higher.
Beyond, Dubai as always, futuristic skyline and dusty skies. Sunset in a gentle pink as a reminder of inherent poetry.
